HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment: Easy Online & Offline Ways

How to pay online

    • Log in to PayZapp
    • Click on the ‘Bills and Recharges’ icon and scroll down to ‘Financial Services’

    • Scroll down to search for your credit card biller or the Bank list
    • Enter your 16-digit card number if your HDFC credit card is not readily linked
    • For other bank credit cards, provide your registered mobile number along with the last four digits of your credit card
    • Click ‘Continue’ and select the payment method and the amount you wish to pay
    • This way, you can pay the amount payable using your HDFC Bank Debit Card

    TAT : HDFC Bank credit card payments are settled on the same day. For other banks, it takes 2-4 days to settle credit card payments.

  2. Pay via HDFC NetBanking

    Another convenient way to pay your credit card bill is through HDFC NetBanking. Follow these simple steps to do so:

    • Log in to your HDFC NetBanking account using your NetBanking ID and password
    • Navigate to the ‘Transact’ tab in the left menu
    • Hover over the ‘Credit Card Payment’ section under the ‘Transact’ tab
    • Choose the account and select the card number
    • Pick from the minimum amount due, the total outstanding balance, or a custom amount option
    • Review details such as: credit card type, amount payable, and payment details
    • Once finalised, click on the ‘Confirm’ button to initiate payment

  3. Pay via the HDFC Bank Mobile Banking app

    HDFC Mobile Banking is a convenient, innovative, and quick way to pay credit card bills on the go. Here’s how to do it:

    • Log in to your HDFC Mobile Banking account by entering your customer ID and Password details, or log in via Quick Access PIN
    • Navigate to the ‘Pay’ section located on the left side of the screen, then select the ‘Cards’ tab
    • Identify and pick the registered credit card linked to your account
    • Select the ‘Pay’ option to initiate the payment process
    • Choose how much you’d like to pay — whether it’s the minimum, the total, or a custom amount
    • Review the payment details, card type, and payable amount
    • Click ‘Confirm’ to complete the payment

  4. HDFC credit card bill payment using NEFT/RTGS/IMPS

    You can conveniently pay your HDFC Bank credit card bill using NEFT, RTGS, or IMPS from any other bank account. Here’s how:

    • Log in to your bank’s net banking portal using your credentials
    • Select NEFT/RTGS/IMPS from the ‘Funds Transfer’ Tab
    • Add your HDFC Bank credit card to the beneficiaries list
    • Enter your card details, including your name, credit card number, and IFSC code
    • Enter the bill amount to be paid
    • Verify the details and click on ‘Pay’ to confirm the transaction

    The 'Beneficiary Account Number' is your HDFC Bank credit card number, and the 'Beneficiary Name' is the name printed on the card. To make NEFT/RTGS transfers, use the IFSC code HDFC0000128. For immediate payments, you can use the VISA Money Transfer or IMPS facility.

  5. Pay via Bill Desk

    You can quickly settle your HDFC credit card bill via Bill Desk. Here’s how the process works:

    • Visit the HDFC Bank Bill Desk page
    • Enter your HDFC Bank credit card number and payment amount
    • Select the ‘Net Banking’ option from the drop-down and click on ‘Pay’
    • You will be securely redirected to the payment interface of your selected net banking provider
    • Log in with your authentication details (user ID & password)
    • Confirm the payment amount for your HDFC Bank credit card. The account will be debited online
    • Upon successful payment, you’ll receive an online transaction confirmation and a Transaction Reference Number
    • If an email ID is provided, you’ll also receive a confirmation email acknowledging your transaction

How to pay offline

  1. Pay via ATM

    You can easily pay your credit card bill at any time of the day via the ATM using your Debit Card. The steps mentioned are easy to follow:

    • Insert the debit card you want to use to pay your credit card bill
    • Navigate to the ‘Main Menu’, typically located on the right side of the ATM screen
    • Select ‘More Options’, then choose ‘Make Credit Card Payment’ from the top left
    • Choose either ‘Savings Account’ or ‘Current Account’ as your payment source
    • Enter the stipulated bill amount and press ‘Confirm’
    • Type your 16-digit credit card number and press ‘Confirm’
    • Enter your 4-digit debit card ATM PIN to proceed

  2. Pay via Cash

    Cash is one of the most convenient ways to pay your credit card bills on time. Here’s a simple way you can pay via cash:

    • Deposit cash at an HDFC Bank ATM, or you can pay your credit card bill in cash at any HDFC Bank branch

    TAT: Cash payments for credit card bills are processed within 1 day.

  3. Pay via cheque

    One can access any HDFC Bank branch and deposit their cheque to settle the credit card bill.

    • Write a cheque payable to HDFC Bank Card A/C and include your 16-digit credit card number
    • Submit the cheque at an HDFC Bank ATM or branch for processing
  4. Pay the HDFC credit card bill with Autopay

    With the Autopay facility, you will never have to worry about late payments. Simply set it up to automatically manage your HDFC Bank credit card bill payments.

    • Register for the Autopay facility at your nearest HDFC Bank branch
    • Set a maximum amount for auto-debit
    • The Bank will deduct either the minimum amount due or the total monthly outstanding amount owed on your credit card, based on the instructions
    • The right balance in your account is necessary to avail the facility for timely payments
